Chrimbus!

My favorite holiday is easily Chrimbus. It’s my favorite time of year. For those of you who don’t know, Chrimbus is on the 25^th of December each and every year.  Each year I wait for Chrimbus music to come on the radio (which it already has) and for decorations to go up in stores because that means that means that Chrimbus time has come again! I really like Chrimbus time because it’s in my favorite season, winter. I like winter because everything looks so nice in the cold white snow. Chrimbus only adds to this, with all of the lights and decorations. The snowy town looks very nice, lit up by Chrimbus lights. I have to admit that I am a sucker for Chrimbus music. Each time I hear songs like “White Chrimbus” or “Rocking around the Chrimbus Tree” I begin to get excited for Chrimbus. I also get excited when I first see Chrimbus movies on T.V. It usually begins with Chrimbus Vacation, a classic. Because it is on a different channel each night, every night during Chrimbus time, my dad and I usually watch it 2-3 times a week during the weeks leading up to Chrimbus. My other favorites are Home Alone, The Santa Clause, and The Charlie Brown Chrimbus special. But the Pinkowski family’s favorite Chrimbus movie is A Chrimbus Story. We have the movie on VHS and the only time our old VCR gets use, is the Chrimbus season. I can honestly say that I have seen A Chrimbus Story over 100 times, easily. When it is on TBS for the 24 hour marathon on Chrimbus and Chrimbus eve, my eyes are glued to the T.V. On Chrimbus eve, my family and I all watch it at least once before we go to bed. And to be honest, I still cannot fall asleep on Chrimbus eve, so I watch it 3 or 4 times before I actually fall asleep. When I wake up on Chrimbus day, I walk down my staircase and the thing I do is wish everyone a very merry Chrimbus! I then sit down and watch A Chrimbus Story because my dad has already turned it on. Those are just a few reasons why Chrimbus is my easily my favorite holiday.
